I’ve talked some on here about how I’m in my last semester in College. It’s a little overwhelming to think about so I don’t mention it to much, but I in fact are graduating this spring. In my last semester I have been working on a body of Self Portraits and shared a few here. This is one photo I took this last weekend. I grew up Navy and moved coast to coast and this is just a visual representation of sea to sea I shall go. I will continue to share more as the project progresses.
Month Two went by wonderfully! My tummy is happy and I have no more stomach pains which is wonderful. Also going Vegan has encouraged me to cook more. I’ve been financially tight which means if I eat out it’s with Dustin so I’ve been cooking large meals each week that I can eat with veggies. I think the one thing I hear too often is that going Vegan is too expensive which is not true at all! I’ve actually saved money going vegan then when I was a meat eater. Plus I buy most of my veggies locally so it cuts the price even more. If you’re interested in following Dustin and I’s Vegan Adventures you can follow our instagram @thevegandiaries.
Last Weekend Dustin and I made the short Trip to Washington Oaks Gardens. We didn’t spend anytime in the Garden but hung out on the Rock Beach for the Day. The weather was beautiful and warm. I believe the high was 80 degrees and I was trying to get as much vitamin D as possible. I have been working on a series of self portraits so Dustin was helping me as I soaked myself in freezing water. It was quite the day.
